A Brief History of an Innovation that changed cycling forever… For many 'clipping' into a pedal is the sound that kicks off every ride. But this sensation is still relatively new and wasn't always with us.
In 1984 LOOK created the very first modern clipless pedals revolutionizing the sport forever. From its very first inception both the rider and cycling itself have benefited from increased efficiency and higher levels of achievement. This was only made possible by the Clipless pedal. They were the start of a complete technical renaissance.

With such a successful concept many thought LOOK could not re-invent the Clipless technology that had been so successful. However, in 2004 LOOK launched the LOOK Keo. The Keo was stronger, leaner and lighter than any other concept they had previously produced and it literally took the cycling world by storm. Almost every top rider uses Keo pedals and this has helped establish the Keo as the world's number one clipless pedal for the road.
